This meeting is part of the activities of the\u00a0Research Group on Orthogonal Polynomials, Special Functions and Operator Theory and Applications (OPSFOTA)<\/em><\/a> based in the UK and Leuven (Belgium).<\/p>\n The inaugural meeting\u00a0will take place at the University of Kent<\/a><\/strong>, on the 28th March 2018<\/strong>.\u00a0The meeting is supported by a London Mathematical Society<\/a> Joint Research Groups grant.<\/p>\n Speakers<\/strong>:\u00a0Marjolein Leurs (Leuven), Sheehan Olver (Imperial), Alexander Pushnitski\u00a0(KCL), Jani Virtanen (Reading) and Ian Wood (Kent).<\/p>\n Registration<\/strong>: There is no registration fee, but it would be helpful if you could register in advance by emailing Ana Loureiro (A.Loureiro@kent.ac.uk<\/a>)<\/p>\n Venue<\/strong>: Darwin Boardroom<\/a>\u00a0(morning sessions) and the\u00a0School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science in the new Sibson building<\/a>\u00a0(lunch and afternoon sessions).<\/p>\n TIMETABLE \u00a0(<\/strong>detailed PROGRAMME\u00a0<\/strong>can be found HERE<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n Train information may be obtained from here<\/a>. The quickest train from London to Canterbury (West) takes 54 minutes from St Pancras International.<\/p>\n Funds are available to help with travel expenses of participants with limited sources of funding.
