{"id":313,"date":"2019-04-25T19:01:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T18:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/datascience\/?p=313"},"modified":"2019-04-25T19:01:00","modified_gmt":"2019-04-25T18:01:00","slug":"growing-kent-medway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/aida\/2019\/04\/25\/growing-kent-medway\/","title":{"rendered":"Growing Kent &amp; Medway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">The University is part of a new consortium working to develop a business case to strengthen Kent and Medway\u2019s position as the UK\u2019s leading region for the production and processing of high-value foods and plant-based compounds.<\/p>\n<p>The consortium, known as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.emr.ac.uk\/news-articles\/growing-kent-medway-receives-support-from-the-ukri-strength-in-places-fund\/\"><em>Growing Kent &amp; Medway<\/em><\/a>, has received\u00a0<strong>a \u00a350,000 seed-corn grant<\/strong>\u00a0from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukri.org\/funding\/funding-opportunities\/strength-in-places-fund\/\">UK Research and Innovation Strength in Places Fund<\/a>.
