This is the first paper, published in Frontiers, from the BETADOC and MOHAWK projects funded by the Evelyn Trust and EPSRC. We show that brain networks measured with high-density EEG at the bedside can track the changes in awareness in patients with disorders of consciousness. This research is generating the evidence to support potential clinical applications of this novel healthcare technology.
