For Firm Choice applicants: <\/strong>If Kent is your firm choice<\/strong> and you\u2019ve applied for accommodation, you\u2019ll receive a room offer via email once your place at Kent is confirmed with an unconditional offer and you meet the accommodation guarantee<\/a><\/strong>. For most students, this happens on or after A-Level results day, but if you already hold an unconditional offer, you might receive your accommodation offer sooner.<\/p>\n For Insurance Choice applicants: <\/strong>If Kent is your insurance choice<\/strong>, you\u2019re still welcome to apply for accommodation. However, you won\u2019t receive an offer unless you decide to firmly accept an unconditional place at Kent.<\/p>\n For Clearing applicants: <\/strong>We also have accommodation available for Clearing applicants, so be sure to tick \u2018yes\u2019 for accommodation when you apply<\/strong>. You can find further details in our Clearing application advice<\/a>.<\/p>\n We\u2019ll send your accommodation offer via email, so it\u2019s important to:<\/p>\n We will always email you with details of your offer or your next steps. If a few days have passed and you haven\u2019t heard from us, feel free to get in touch for an update.<\/p>\n Once you receive your accommodation offer, you\u2019ll need to:<\/p>\n Contact us within the 48-hour window, and we can extend your deadline by a day or two if necessary.<\/p>\n Firstly, don\u2019t panic! We do our best to allocate students to a room that best suits their preferences, but sometimes high demand means that we\u2019re not able to give everyone the room or location they want. However, getting a different room doesn\u2019t mean your experience on campus is ruined. We have seen that once students arrive and settle into their accommodation, they realise that they\u2019re really happy with the room they\u2019ve been given.<\/p>\n If you are sure that you want a different room from the one you\u2019ve been offered, don\u2019t decline it straight away<\/strong>. Instead, contact our team<\/a> who can offer advice and create a room move application for you. We try to fulfil as many room move requests as possible before Arrivals Weekend (27 and 28 September 2025); however, due to availability, this is not always possible. Please don\u2019t worry, as there are several opportunities for room moves during the academic year if you are unhappy with your room.<\/p>\n If you decline your offer, you won\u2019t be sent another one<\/strong>, as we\u2019ll assume you have decided not to live on campus. However, we know that mistakes happen, and if you need us to reactivate your application, get in touch and we can do this for you. Please note that this may result in a different room offer.<\/p>\n Our team works hard to support students during their time on campus, and we want your experience in our accommodation to be the best it can be. If you ever need any help or advice, you\u2019re always welcome to contact us<\/a>!<\/p>\n Accommodation applications open in mid-January, and if you apply before 30 June 2025, you’re guaranteed an offer of accommodation<\/a>. If you miss this deadline, don\u2019t worry! You can still apply, but you may need to wait a little longer for an offer.
