If you already have an unconditional offer, you may receive your accommodation offer sooner.
Insurance choice: Even if Kent is your insurance choice, it’s still worth booking accommodation early. If you later make Kent your firm choice, we’ll send you an offer (as long as your course offer is conditional or unconditional).
Clearing: Accommodation is available for Clearing students too. Just make sure you tick “yes” for accommodation when you apply. Offers start being sent from late March and are released in batches, so don’t worry if you don’t hear straight away. Keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder) and if you haven’t heard after a few weeks, you can contact the Accommodation team for an update.

Accepting your offer
Once you receive your accommodation offer, you’ll need to log in to the MyAccommodation portal and accept or decline it within 48 hours. If you’re not happy with your room, don’t panic, don’t decline the offer straight away as you won’t automatically receive another one. Instead, contact the Accommodation team for advice. You can request a room move before or after you arrive, subject to availability.

Missed the Deadline?
You can still apply for accommodation after 30 June, but it’s no longer guaranteed and you may need to wait a bit longer for an offer.
