This role is based in Canterbury. It’s a great place to live. Lots of culture and history (of course!). There’s easy access to gorgeous countryside, and the seaside is just a few miles away. Some of our team have even been known to run from the seaside into work!!
And London is less than an hour on the HS1.
For more information about what a great place Canterbury and Kent are to live try canterbury.gov.uk’s leisure and countryside pages.
And for tons of information about relocation packages, family-friendly policies and work-life balance at the University see the University job site.
You can also find information about local schools on kent.gov.uk’s ‘finding the right school’ site.
We’d like someone who is comfortable with a range of web technologies, has an eye for clean, effective design who fully understands the need for a data-driven user experience.
You’ll need to be aware of accessibility and usability standards and how to make these work in real life.
And a bit more about us…
It is a great time to join the Web Solutions team as there are many changes on the horizon. Working with colleagues in Web Development, Enrolment Management Services and Corporate Communications you will contribute to the KentWeb project to redevelop the website and the Research.kent initiative to raise the profile of research at the University.
