Vacancy – Research Assistant, CAS Community Support

The School of Computing is looking for an enthusiastic developer to work on maintenance and further development of the Computing At Schools (CAS) website, working alongside the pre-existing team. The role is two-days per week, based at the Canterbury campus and for the fixed term of a year.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and experience with server-side web programming as well as good knowledge of HTML and CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Linux, Apache and similar as well as a basic knowledge of SQL.

Experience in deploying and maintaining a dynamic website and working successfully with existing small or medium size code bases is essential.
