School of Computing in top quartile of league table

The School of Computing continues to maintain its high position in the league tables. It has been ranked 26th out of 105 UK Computer Science departments in the Complete University Guide 2015. The School also received a similar ranking in the most recent Sunday Times University Guide with a place of 24th out of 101 CS departments.

The University of Kent has been ranked 22nd out of 123 UK institutions, up six places from last year. This rise, combined with the University’s other recent league table achievements, including a ranking of 20th in the 2014 Guardian University Guide, confirms Kent’s position in the top tier of UK universities.

Launched in 2007, the Complete University Guide offers comparisons between UK universities on a wide range of criteria including strength of research, student satisfaction, entry standards, staff/student ratio, spending on academic services, campus facilities, completion rates, good honours and graduate prospects.

The results of the 2015 league table were published on Monday 12th May 2014.
