Present your school’s innovative applied research at ICE Showcase Event

Following the success of last year’s event; Kent Innovation and Enterprise (KIE) are hosting the ICE Showcase Event for 2016 which will prove bigger and better than ever!

The event on Thursday 28 April includes a list of inspiring speakers, bespoke masterclasses, networking opportunities and an Innovation Zone. The afternoon will also include a presentation of the Innovation Awards to celebrate the success of academics working with partner businesses and organisations.

ICE takes place at Woolf College, Canterbury Campus from 12.00 to 17.00 and is aimed at directors and senior managers within the business community with the potential to collaborate with the University.

KIE are looking for schools and departments within the University to showcase their academic excellence and world-leading research by taking part in a poster competition on their applied research areas. Each school/department can submit A0 size posters which will be displayed at the Innovation Zone on the Woolf lower foyer and guests will vote for their favourite design. The winner of the competition will be revealed during the Innovation Awards and will be presented with a prize.

All submissions (high quality PDFs only please) must be sent to Janine Coomber (j.l.m.coomber@kent.ac.uk) by Monday 21 March along with the name of at least one academic, staff member or postgraduate student who will represent their school/department during the reception from 12.00 to 13.00.
