Event Details

The National Offender Management Service (NOMS) is responsible for probation services and prisons an related institutions in England and Wales. It also deals with the rehabilitation of offenders and the prevention of reoffending.

Emma Conduct from NOMS will be giving an overview of the wide range of careers in NOMS particularly in relation to the rehabilitation of offenders and the prevention re-offending against the background of rapid and on-going change in the structure of organisations working in this area and the provision of services. Emma will also cover the importance of getting relevant experience, often through roles in voluntary organisations, prior to applying if you want to work in front-line roles.

Venue:- Darwin lecture theatre 3, Darwin College
To get to Darwin lecture theatre 3
i)Use the lift by the Darwin college entrance to level 2 and follow the signs (RECOMMENDED)
ii)Use the stairs behind Darwin reception or inside the entrance to Origins to level 2
iii)If you get lost ask at Darwin College reception by the main entrance.
