The Turner Prize exhibition is coming to Kent AND it’s Gulbenkian’s 50th anniversary. Come and celebrate their joint spirit of artistic activism and protest with this special event. 

The event will feature a series of interactive political installations exploring protest in our foyer space, a discussion event World Café with Turner’s Philosopher in Residence from 10am to 1pm, followed by a free lunch and a trip to Margate to see the Turner Prize exhibition.

This is a free event but limited to 50 FREE student places. Please register to attend by clicking the link .

  • What? A talk & discussion on black history and the recent Windrush immigration scandal.

David Olusoga is historian, broadcaster, film-maker, Professor of Public History at the University of Manchester, and one of the UK’s foremost historians whose main subject areas are empire, race and slavery. Razia Iqbal is a presenter for BBC News and one of the main hosts of Newshour, the flagship news and current affairs programme on BBC World Service. The event will be followed by a drin​ks reception.
