Engaging student life

The School offers a range of student engagement activities to ensure that all students get the most out of their time at the University. Activities include everything from exercise and wellbeing, through to employability and study skills sessions.

Students are also encouraged to take part in the School’s thriving calendar of social and outreach events organised by the School’s student societies and student ambassadors.

Exciting new building

SMSAS moved into the multi-million pound Sibson Building in March 2017. This vibrant new campus destination brings together academics, students, researchers and administrative staff from both SMSAS and Kent Business School (KBS). The unique W-shaped building includes state-of-the-art equipment, social, and study spaces for students and staff. There are also IT suites, three lecture theatres, seminar rooms, and a café.
