Guest Lecture by Prof Oded Haklai on ‘Settlements in Disputed Territories: Israeli Mindsets, Time and Generational Cohorts’, 28 March 2017

Oded Haklai is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Studies at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. His expertise lie in the realm of national and ethnic conflict and Israeli-Palestinian relations. His first book, Palestinian Ethnonationalism in Israel was the recipient of the Shapiro Award. Haklai has published numerous journal articles and books. His most recent book (in collaboration with Neophytos Loizides) Settlers in Contested Lands: Territorial Disputes and Ethnic Conflicts was published by Stanford University Press in 2015. Haklai has won several prestigious research grants the most recent one on the politics of Israeli settlers.
