Our Intramural sports programme is open to all ages and abilities, whether you’re a student, staff, alumni or member of the community. The emphasis is on social sport with a competitive element.

The Let’s Play timetable includes a whole range of fun, engaging sports on and off campus, and includes swimming sessions, canoeing and This Girl Can sports. Most sessions are just £1 or free so it’s a great opportunity to try out something new.

The fitness and dance timetable should get your blood pumping and your heart racing with classes such as BodyPump, Circuits, Zumba and our new class; Veraflow. Classes are free for Gold and Silver members and bookable up to seven days in advance.

The One-off events can occur termly such as UV sports night, annually like FitnessFest or just the once like the ‘Back to the Future’ fun run. They are open to students and staff, including members and non-members. Check our events calendar for more information.

Our popular staff tournament, the Vice-Chancellor’s Cup, is back for another year with a new competition for January; Gladiators ready! Talk to your department captain if you’re interested in taking part.

Join Kent Sport for our inaugural ‘coaching and officiating‘ clinics designed for the development and progression of students into various roles.
