You watch, we buy: over 30,000 quality educational videos available through Kanopy

Kanopy streaming service includes award-winning documentaries, acclaimed and classic films and rare titles, and covers many subjects.

They are available to all Kent students and staff. Discover and use them for seminar preparation, essays or research. You can make clips and create your own playlists.

The Library will buy the videos that you use the most and they will then become part of the Library’s collection of e-resources and be accessible for one year.

How to access and use

You can browse or search what’s available directly through this Kent link to Kanopy.

Bookmark our A-Z of e-resources to return to Kanopy in future. Kanopy films are currently not included in LibrarySearch.

A new way of buying library resources

This is a new way of buying resources we’ve been trying out (we currently have collections of maths and statistics e-books and visual and performing arts e-books available through similar schemes).

It puts you – our students and staff – in charge of selecting the resources we buy, based on your usage patterns.
