Work Experience with Channel 4

4Talent, Channel 4’s in-house recruitment group, has contacted the University to offer a range of opportunities for anyone interested in a career in the media. The deadlines for applications are difference for each scheme, so if you are interested do make sure to check the details carefully.

Production Training Scheme

Twelve month placement opportunities are available amongst a variety of independent production companies across the UK in cities such as Bristol, Belfast and Glasgow. There are sixteen spaces available and two streams to apply for, as either a Researcher or a Production Coordinator. The scheme is particularly aimed at people with disabilities, from BAME communities or disadvantaged backgrounds, because these groups are currently underrepresented in the television industry. These are paid opportunities, and offer an entry level role for those with less than 12 months experience in production.

Applications are open until the 4th June.
