The nomination was received from Richard Cottam, Head of FM in recognition of the efforts and commitment in dealing with the snow and ice at the Medway Campus between 26 February and 2 March 2018, despite the campus being closed during that period, to allow KMTV to remain on site and continue their essential local news broadcasting. It is recognised team members walked 5 miles in very poor conditions to reach campus.

Two nominations were received from Phil Whittall and Ben Casey both in recognition of Jeremy’s exceptional effort to attend the campus during the recent adverse weather conditions, walking 6.5 miles to work on two separate days. Jeremy’s dedication and drive provided continued services to the University and is commended.

The nomination was received from Juliet Thomas in recognition of the professionalism and hard work from Campus Security during a challenging day involving UCU strike action and the Israeli Ambassador visit. Commendations were received from the Israeli Embassy and the Chief Inspector of Kent Police.
