The works consisted of a new entrance extension on the east and west sides of Marlowe Building creating a focal point for the school, incorporating new egg shaped meeting rooms, 12 new offices, a new reception and admin office, and breakout social spaces for staff, students and visitors.

A new featured staircase and internal living wall have been installed in the new space to create a focal point and the planting used has been carefully selected to work internally and also reflect elements of the course curriculum.

The whole project was designed in-house and project managed by Neil Hornsey.

The project cost £1.2million and was completed in 7 months and formally opened by Karen Cox on 7th November, 2017.
