The research is a collaboration between the University of Kent Partnership Development Office (PDO) and the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research (SSPSSR). The research project has an internal Steering Group. The research team consists of:

As a separate, but related, strand of work, nine Schools are piloting activities that may narrow gaps in academic achievement. They are the Schools of:
