Ever wanted to study in a major European capital city?

If the answer is ‘yes’, then why not apply for Kent’s European Summer Schools 2015?

The European Summer School 2015 programme gives you the opportunity to spend two weeks living and studying in one of Kent’s postgraduate centres in Brussels or Paris.

Taught in English, the summer schools are open to all, including alumni and members of the wider community who wish to study for interest, credit or professional training, and are a fantastic way of studying new topics which are brought to life by visiting important historical sites and museums related to the programmes.

Applicants may choose between two stimulating programmes which will use a combination of classroom-based teaching and outdoor excursions:

The Brussels Summer School will take place at Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies from Monday 6 July to Friday 17 July, and will centre on the theme of ‘Europe and the World’. Various sub-themes will be covered, including migration, the European Union (EU)’s relationship with emerging powers such as China, and the EU’s response to the global economic crisis.

The Paris Summer School will be based at Kent’s Paris Centre from Monday 13 July to Friday 24 July, and will focus on the theme of ‘Revolutions’. Participants will explore how French culture has long been at the centre of innovation in the fields of architecture, film, literature, art, philosophy and drama.

The deadline for applications is 29 March 2015. If you would like more information about Kent’s European Summer Schools 2015, please visit the website.
