On Wednesday 1 November, Professor David Stirrup – the project’s principal investigator – spoke to KMTV in Kent about the history of Native North American presence in the county, including the time which Pocahontas spent in Gravesend. He also asks members of the public to get in touch if they have any memories, family stories or physical mementoes of previous Native North American visitors to the UK.
