Movie Night | Screening #3 on Nov 8 | National Bird

Our third (Conflict) Movie Night is happening this Wednesday at 7pm, in the Auditorium and everybody is welcome.

The original idea for this session was to show a film illustrating the militarisation of society, the blurring of lines between policing and warfare and between war an peace.

I originally thought about some sci-fi stuff. But reality may well beat fiction: let’s talk about drones and their unlimited capacity to observe our lives and kill from above!

The documentary National Bird explores these questions. Find reviews here, here, here or here.

Find out more about drones by reading this fantastic and highly readable book or consulting this creepy database.

See you all on Wednesday,
