Prof. Martti Koskenniemi from the University of Helsinki will give a guest lecture on Thursday 23 March from 5pm-7pm. He will argue that an adequate understanding of the status and role of international law requires an interrogation of the relation between sovereign power and the power of property in international relations and how the different organisations of this relation have been codified in international legal practice.
