Become a Canterbury Festival Promoter!

Canterbury Festival takes over the city every October. It is Kent’s International Arts Festival and hosts over 200 events in the space of 3 weeks including live music, comedy, cabaret, theatre, circus, dance and talks.

The Festival is looking for Student Promoters to help spread the word about the festival which launches in July and runs from 15 Oct – 5 Nov 2016.

Organisers are looking for outgoing, self-motivated, media savvy students who love the arts and want to share this with a far reaching network of friends and contacts. You will be distributing posters and brochures around campus in late September and promoting our events to your mates through innovative media relevant to the student market both for fun, and for events related to your degrees. In return promoters are offered:

A pair of tickets for two different core Festival events of your choice

• An opportunity to come and see how the Festival is run (a tour of the offices, meet the team and join the Festival focus group)
• Reference
