The first day (5 June) will take place in the Grimond Building, Lecture Theatre 3 (GLT3) on the University of Kent campus.

Upon entering the Grimond building, the room is ahead and to the left.

The second day (6 June) will take place in Cornwallis East Seminar Room 2 (CNESR2) on the University of Kent campus.

Cornwallis East entrance is located near the Darwin Road bus stop. Entering by the main door, turn right. The room is on the ground floor at the end of the corridor.

 

Getting Here

The University of Kent is a campus university just outside of Canterbury.

On Foot (from Canterbury West Station):

You can walk from Canterbury West train station (about 25-30 minutes).

Turn left out of the station and walk to the end of the road.

Just after the ‘Goods Shed’ market on your left, take the footpath on the left and take the subway under the railway line.

The University is signposted on blue signs from here.

 

By Bus:

To the University from:

Canterbury Bus Station — regular bus service Uni 1, Uni 2 or Number 36 takes approximately 14 minutes.

Canterbury East Train Station — turn right straight outside the station (do not cross the bridge opposite the station) and follow the road to the bus stop — regular bus service Uni 1, Uni 2 or Number 4.

Canterbury West Train Station —  turn right and walk to the end of the road, cross the road at the zebra crossing and the bus stop is on the left — regular bus service Uni 1, Uni 2 or Number 4.

You should alight at Keynes bus stop.

 

By Taxi:

Fares from the city centre to the University are between £5-10 and take between 5-10 minutes.
